Only two Weeks until Spokane Oktoberfest! Check out the Beer List!

Only two weeks from today the inaugural Spokane Oktoberfest will bring 50 amazing Washington beers along with brats and sauerkraut, pretzels and mustard, lederhosen and dirndls, to downtown Spokane's Riverfront Park.
Twenty Washington Breweries will be on hand to tap the following:

Alpine Brewing-Oroville, WA
1) Alpine Bohemian Pilsner (ABV: 5.2% )
A golden colored, full bodied example of this popular beer.
A very slight maltiness is balanced with a generous dose of noble hops, which gives this beer a wonderful hoppy aroma without making it too bitter. Extremely “süffig” (quaffable).

2) Alpine Amber Lager (ABV: 5.2% )
A classic Bavarian “Märzen” with a rich malty aroma. This amber-colored and full-flavored lager beer is brewed from a classic recipe. A conditioning time of 6 to 8 weeks guarantees the exceptional balance, smoothness and full body typical of true German beers.

3) Alpine Weizen-Bock (ABV: 6.5%)
The golden color of our summer seasonal indicates a full-bodied beer with a velvety smooth taste which accentuates its malty character. This delicate flavor is in harmony with the fruity, estery, banana-clove flavor one expects from Weizenbeers fermented with an original Bavarian yeast strain. Imported aroma hops provide a delicate, subdued balance to the natural sweetness of the malts.

C. I. Shenanigans-Spokane, WA
1) Oktoberfest Lager (ABV: 6%)
A copper golden malty forward, slightly sweet nutty, crisp, clean Vienna style lager

2) Washington Blonde (ABV: 4.5%)
Very pale in color, bright, clean, refreshingly dry finish

3) Buttface Amber (ABV: 5.4%)
Dark copper in color also bright, malty, slight sweet, very faint fruity aroma, and finishes with touch of roast

Diamond Knot Brewing-Mukilteo,WA

Vienna Style Ale. Our answer to an Oktoberfest! Reddish amber in color, the ale has a bright, crisp flavor with a complete malty finish

2) India Pale Ale (ABV: 6.2%)

Elliott Bay Brewing-Burien, WA
1) Organic Washington Pumpkin Ale (ABV: 7.6%)
Brewed with organic pumpkin meat from Oregon. Mild pumpkin flavor pairs well with a blend of whole organic spices to produce a delicate balance of “seasonal” flavor, aroma in a fairly strong ale.

2) Hop Von Boorian (ABV: 5.5%)
Belgian Inspired IPA. Our twist on the typical Northwest IPA. Brewed with a Belgian yeast strain, it had the character of a Belgian Trippel with the drinkability and through-the-roof hoppiness of a Northwest IPA.

Elysian Brewing-Seattle, WA
1) Night Owl Our Original Pumpkin Ale (ABV: 5.9%)
Brewed with over 7 lbs. of pumpkin per barrel. Made with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts, green and roasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin in the mash, boil and fermenter. Bittered with Magnum hops. Dried jasmine flowers added in the boil and whirlpool. Starting gravity 15.6° Plato (1.064), alcohol 5.2% by weight, 6.3% by volume.

Fremont Brewing-Seattle, WA
1) Universale Pale Ale (ABV: 5.2%)
Fremont is the self-proclaimed “Center of the Universe” and Universale, our flagship product, honors the namesake of our unique location. Universale Pale Ale offers a distinctive Northwest twist on the classic pale ale, using a select blend of organic Gambrinus pale roasted malt and Old World malts balanced with classic Northwest hops to achieve a heavenly beer of rich malt flavor and subtle hop spice. This is beer. Enjoy.

2) Interurban India Pale Ale (ABV 6.2%)
Named after Fremont’s most famous outdoor sculpture, Waiting for the Interurban, Interurban India Pale Ale offers the adventurous beer lover a warm embrace of organic Gambrinus roasted pale malt swirled with a hand-selected blend of flavor malts and filled with the rich spice of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops. Interurban India Pale is a session beer, eminently drinkable throughout the year.

3) Mystere du Rayon (ABV: ??%)
If we told you, it wouldn’t be a Mystery

Georgetown Brewing-Seattle, WA
1) Manny’s Pale (ABV: 5.2%)
Manny's Pale Ale: A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. It's truly a micro that finishes crisp, clean, and smooth

2) Lucille IPA (ABV: 7.2%)

Golden Hills Brewery-Reardan, WA
1) Clem’s Gold (ABV 5.0%)

2) Oatmeal Porter (ABV: 6%)
Robust Porter. Strong coffee & chocolate flavors. Not for the timid.

3) Hefeweizen (ABV: 5%)
Light, easy drinking, hef with loads of wheat character.

Mac & Jacks Brewing-Redmond, WA
1) African Amber (ABV: 5.4%)
The Northwest’s original, unfiltered and dry hopped amber ale. African Amber’s pioneering and innovative style is proof that drink-ability does not have be achieved by sacrificing flavor.

2) Black Cat Porter (ABV: 4.8%)
Hints of chocolate and coffee accent this rich and creamy brew. Blackcat’s smooth approachable flavor demonstrates that dark beers can be enjoyed by all.

Northern Ales-Northport, WA
1) Smoked North Porter (ABV: 6%)
Peated smoked porter, robust, balanced to perfection.

2) Flume Creek IPA (ABV: 6.5%)
Solidly bitter with citrus hops

Northern Lights Brewing Co.-Spokane, WA

Holiday Ale. A winter treat infused with orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, and coriander. Festive and flavorful with subtle spices on the nose and palate.

2) Kilt Lifter-Scotch Style Ale (ABV: 6.5%)
Layers of rich, sweet, powerful malt; earthy, like a freshly baked bread. A subtle underlying smokiness from a small addition of peated single-malt Scotch whiskey malt adds complexity. Round and satisfying with light hop notes.

1) Schanauzen Honker (ABV:4.7%) Oktoberfest.

2) Grande Ronde Rye (ABV:4.8%) Rye

Schooner Exact Brewing-Seattle, WA
1) King Street Brown Style (ABV: 5.5%)
King Street Brown is a sure pleaser for those wanting a slightly more malty experience.
Our brown is light and sessionable with a drier finish. A blend of chocolate and special Belgian malts lend a roasty flavor nuanced with hints of stone fruit.

2) Gallant Maiden (ABV: 5%)
A light, refreshing Bavarian style wheat ale. The specialty Bavarian yeast gives this beer its spicy qualities with the slightest nuance of banana. We ferment at low temperature to further focus the clove and spice characteristics.

3) Terry’s Pilsner (ABV: 4.0%)

More than 5,500 showed up on an overcast Saturday and lines were long for the Black Raven and Northern Lights taps most of the day. The "Buzz Cart" was a big hit as well.
